1. What Homeschool Paperwork is

Homeschool Paperwork is a software tool that helps New York families prepare and file the documents required for home instruction under 8 NYCRR §100.10. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

2. Your responsibility

You are the filer of record for all documents. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for confirming that each document is correct and sent to the correct recipient before it is filed. Deadlines, requirements, and district preferences can change; verify them with your school district.

3. Filing on your behalf

When you choose to file, you authorize Homeschool Paperwork to transmit the document you previewed to the recipient you selected, by email and/or certified mail. We are not responsible for delivery failures by third-party carriers or for district acceptance.

4. No diploma

Transcripts produced by Homeschool Paperwork are parent-issued. Home-instructed students in New York do not receive a local or Regents diploma from the district.

5. Billing

Subscriptions and per-filing fees are billed through Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homeschool Paperwork is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
