What we collect

Account information (your name, email) and the home-instruction records you enter about your child(ren): names, grade, school year, district, curriculum, hours, grades/narratives, assessment results, and transcript courses. We do not collect Social Security numbers.

How we use it

Solely to generate, store, and file your home-instruction documents, to send you deadline reminders, and to operate your account. We do not sell your data or use children’s data for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the subprocessors needed to run the service: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (billing), Resend (email), and Lob (certified mail). When you file a document, its contents are sent to the school district recipient you select.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Tag Manager and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can opt out at any time through your browser’s cookie controls. We do not sell your data or use children’s records for advertising.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every record is scoped to your account with row-level security, so only you can access your family’s data.

Your choices

You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your records, subject to limited retention required for legal or accounting purposes.
